West Davis Hair Care was born from my own hair journey on West Davis Road in Arcola, Texas, just outside of Houston and near Angleton, Pearland, and Sugar Land.

As a little girl, I remember my mother constantly trimming my hair because the ends were always dry, damaged, and uneven. No matter what we tried, my hair seemed to struggle. Growing up, I noticed that living in the South brought a different set of challenges than I experienced up North. The heat, humidity, and dryness often left my hair feeling thirsty and difficult to manage.

I also remember how much my father loved seeing my hair freshly washed, moisturized, and neatly combed. Healthy hair was something that made me feel confident and cared for. As I got older, however, I began noticing many of the same concerns that so many women experience today: dryness, breakage, difficulty retaining length, and eventually thinning areas that left me searching for answers.

Those everyday struggles became the foundation of West Davis Hair Care.

As a marketing researcher specializing in consumer behavior and customer experience, I have spent more than two decades studying how people make decisions, what influences trust, and how brands can better serve customer needs. Throughout my career, I have led marketing, communications, customer experience, and research teams across healthcare, technology, retail, and oil and gas organizations, including Fortune 200 companies with more than $500 million in annual revenue.

Those experiences taught me the importance of listening to consumers and understanding the real challenges they face every day. When I looked at the textured hair care market, I saw many women struggling with the same concerns I had experienced myself: dryness, breakage, thinning edges, difficulty retaining length, and products that focused more on appearance than long-term hair health.

West Davis Hair Care was created by combining my personal hair journey with my professional background in consumer research.
